Abstract:

Simulation setup, data processing, and visualization doesn’t have to be manual. This session introduces EMA3D Connect, EMA’s platform for automated simulation workflows, and shows three ways to put it to work.

First, we’ll tour the automations already built into Connect. The PCB workflow automates board and component model creation: import your EDB layout directly with no CAD conversion, then merge it with enclosure and cable models for full-platform EMC analysis. We’ll also cover Reverse Propagation, which converts a measured RE102 emissions source into a simulation-ready current source, and X-Ray Cable Susceptibility Analysis, which sweeps cable parameters and compares results automatically. These run out of the box, no coding required.

Second, we’ll preview a key capability from our next release: building your own automations with Connect’s APIs and MCP, which let you and AI agents control and accelerate model development through agentic engineering.

Third, you’ll learn how to engage the EMA team to build a custom automation for you to make simulation easier to learn, adopt, and scale across your team, without slowing development.
